Organic Coffee Farm Tour

Description

This visit to an organic coffee farm from Taxco allows participants to learn about the care and production of coffee. We will meet at Calle Juan Ruiz de Alarcón in downtown Taxco to travel to the agricultural community of Cacalotenango.

Upon arrival at the organic coffee farm, we will explore the organic coffee field and understand the yearly processes from planting to processing. The farm cultivates two coffee varieties, Marseille and Costa Rican, and participants will learn to differentiate between them.

The tour includes a coffee tasting of the farm's produced coffee. Additionally, we will have a meal featuring corn sopes with eggs and grilled meat, a traditional Mexican dish.

After four hours of sightseeing, we will return to Taxco to conclude the tour.
