Taxco Churches Tour

We will meet at the specified time on Calle Benito Juarez and begin a tour of the main temples of Taxco, discovering the history and symbolism they conceal. This tour is suitable for art enthusiasts.

The first stop will be at the Templo de Veracruz, a 19th-century structure honoring Santo Cristo de la Veracruz, known as "El General".

Next, we will visit the Parish Church of San Miguel Arcángel, one of the city's oldest, dating back to the 16th century, originally dedicated to San Sebastián. Additionally, we will see the Chapel of San Nicolás, the patron saint of Taxco, where bread rolls are traditionally distributed on his feast day.

The tour continues to the Temple of the Holy Trinity and the Temple of Chavarrieta, recognized as one of the region's most beautiful sacred buildings. We will also stop at the former Convent of San Bernardino de Siena, which contains the most numerous images of important saints in Taxco.

As we conclude the tour, we will enter the Church of Santa Prisca, a colonial monument and a symbol of Taxco. The tour lasts a total of 3 hours, ending with a farewell in front of this renowned temple.
