Taxco Churches Tour

We will meet at the designated time on Calle Benito Juarez. The tour of the main temples of Taxco will begin, entering each site to uncover the history they encompass. This experience is ideal for art enthusiasts.

The first site will be the Templo de Veracruz, built in the 19th century in honor of Santo Cristo de la Veracruz, a venerated symbol known as "El General."

Next, we will visit the Parish Church of San Miguel Arcángel, one of the oldest churches in Taxco, dating back to the 16th century, originally dedicated to San Sebastián. Following this, we will go to the Chapel of San Nicolás, the patron saint of Taxco, where bread rolls are distributed on his feast day to honor his miracles.

The tour then proceeds to the Temple of the Holy Trinity and the Temple of Chavarrieta, known for its architectural beauty. We will also visit the former Convent of San Bernardino de Siena, which houses numerous images of important saints.

To conclude, we will enter the Church of Santa Prisca, a colonial monument symbolizing Taxco. The tour lasts a total of 3 hours, concluding in front of this notable temple.
