Taxco Tour

We'll meet at the indicated time at Benito Juarez street in Taxco to start this guided tour of the historic center. Throughout the tour, we'll discover the attractions of this Pueblo Mágico in the state of Guerrero.

Our first stop will be at the ex-convent of San Bernardino de Siena, originally built in the 16th century and renovated in 1804 following the neoclassical style.

After the ex-convent, we'll view the statues of penitents, commemorating Taxco's Holy Week.

Next, we'll walk to Plaza Borda, also known as Zócalo. The plaza's name means "place where they play ball." We’ll stop at Casa Borda, a cultural center built in 1759 by José de la Borda.

We will pass by the exterior of Casa Humboldt, the Viceroyalty Art Museum, and the Casa Figueroa.

Before concluding our tour, we'll visit the Church of Santa Prisca and San Sebastian, noted for its baroque architecture and significance to the city.

Finally, we'll end the tour 2 hours later in front of the silver tianguis, where you can find various silver jewelry.
