La Palma Dolphin & Whale Watching on a Glass-Bottom Boat
At the designated time, we will meet at the port of Tazacorte. After the group arrives, we will board the Fancy II catamaran, equipped with underwater windows for viewing the seabed.
We will sail to the northeastern part of Isla Bonita to observe underwater life through the glass floor, including rays, sharks, colorful fish, black corals, and octopi.
We will then sail through the Atlantic to spot dolphins and whales in their natural habitats. If conditions allow, we may observe dolphins and a pod of pilot whales, as well as whales surfacing and expelling air from their blowholes.
Before heading back, we will view solidified lava flows from the Cumbre Vieja volcano's recent eruption that lasted 3 months in 2021, discussing its impact on the island.
The catamaran trip will conclude after a total of 2.5 hours as we return to the port of Tazacorte.
