La Palma Dolphin & Whale Watching on a Glass-Bottom Boat
We will meet at the port of Tazacorte at the designated time and board the Fancy II catamaran, which features underwater windows to observe the seabed. Our journey will take us to the northeastern part of Isla Bonita, where we will witness underwater life through the glass floor, including rays, sharks, colorful fish, black corals, and octopi.
We will then sail through the Atlantic to look for dolphins and whales. If conditions permit, we may see dolphins, a pod of pilot whales, and potentially observe whales surfacing.
Before returning, we will view solidified lava flows from the Cumbre Vieja volcano's recent eruption, reflecting on the 3-month eruption in 2021 and its effects on the island.
The catamaran trip lasts a total of 2.5 hours, concluding with our return to the port of Tazacorte.
