Armenia Day Trip

We'll meet at the Avlabari metro station in Tbilisi at 8:30 am. From there we'll head to the border to see notable places in Armenia, one of the first Christian civilizations.

First, we'll visit Ajtala Monastery, where we will admire its 13th-century architecture and Byzantine frescoes. Additionally, we will explore the nearby caves and copper foundation factories.

The next stop will be the Haghpat Monastery, a 10th-century masterpiece of medieval religious architecture that has withstood natural disasters and invasions.

Around 1:30 pm, we'll have lunch at a local family's house to sample traditional cuisine.

At 4 pm, we will visit Sanahin Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by a tour of another copper foundation factory. The tour will conclude with a visit to the Mikoyan Brothers Museum, showcasing the original MiG 21 aircraft.

The tour will end in Tbilisi at 7:30 pm.
