David Gareja Monastery & Rainbow Mountains Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Traveller's Meeting Point in Tbilisi to start our tour to David Gareja Monastery and the Rainbow Mountains.

We'll drive through the beautiful Gareja valley until we reach the salt lake, an ideal spot to explore the hidden charms of the Georgian Sahara. We will then continue our journey through Udabno Village, an abandoned village in the arid landscapes.

From here, we'll get our first glimpse of the Rainbow Mountains. As we approach, we'll admire the unique terrain made up of mineral-rich rocks, which create a variety of shades. We'll park and explore the area on foot, taking pictures.

The next part of the excursion will focus on the history of this Georgian valley. We will visit the David Gareja Monastery, known for its mystical qualities. In addition to exploring the religious complex, we will see the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan, a site of historical significance.

Finally, we'll return to Tbilisi, concluding the tour after seven hours of sightseeing.
