Kakheti Guided Tour & Wine Tasting
Beginning in Tbilisi, we will head east to Kakheti, known for its vineyards. After an hour's drive, our first stop will be a picturesque town for a baking masterclass where you will learn to make Georgian bread and enjoy the taste of your creation.
Next, we will visit the Monastery of St Nino at Bodbe, a significant pilgrimage site from the 9th century, which houses St Nino's tomb and offers views over the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains.
Our journey continues to the charming town of Signagi, where you will have free time to explore its cobbled streets and enjoy views of the valley and peaks. You may also visit the Pirosmanishvili Museum dedicated to artist Nico Pirosmanishvili.
Following Signagi, we will head to a local wine cellar for a tasting of seven Georgian wines and learn about their production in Kakheti. You'll also taste chacha, a local vodka, and learn a traditional toast. After this, you will have around half an hour for lunch.
We will return to Tbilisi at approximately 6:30 pm.
