Kakheti Guided Tour & Wine Tasting

On the morning of the tour, we will meet in Tbilisi and head east to Kakheti, known for its vineyards.

After an hour's drive, our first stop will be a picturesque town for a baking masterclass where we will learn to make Georgian bread and taste it.

Next, we will visit the Monastery of St Nino at Bodbe, established in the 9th century, an important pilgrimage site housing the tomb of St Nino, who introduced Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century. The site provides views over the Alazani Valley and Caucasus Mountains.

Our subsequent stop will be the charming town of Signagi, offering free time for exploration. You can walk its cobbled streets for views of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus peaks or visit the Pirosmanishvili Museum.

Following Signagi, we will visit a local wine cellar to taste seven Georgian wines and learn about their production. We will also sample chacha, a local vodka, and learn a traditional toast. You'll have around half an hour of free time for lunch.

We will return to Tbilisi, arriving around 6:30 pm.
