This tour will take you along the Georgian Military Road to Ananuri Castle, the Jinvali Water Reservoir, and Kazbegi, a village in the Caucasus Mountains.

Kazbegi & Ananuri Castle Day Trip

After meeting at the Avlabari metro station, we will head north along the Georgian Military Road, crossing the Caucasus mountain range.

Approximately one and a half hours later, the first stop will be the Jinvali Water Reservoir, noted for its turquoise waters against the green landscape. We will then proceed to the fortress of Ananuri, situated on the Aragvi River and historically significant from the Middle Ages.

At noon, you will have free time in Pasanauri for lunch, where local dishes are available, including the recommended khinkali.

After lunch, we will visit the Russia-Georgia Friendship Monument, a structure built in 1983 commemorating the Treaty of Georgievsk, offering views of the Devil's Valley.

Next, we will travel to Kazbegi, where you may opt for a 4x4 trip to the Gergeti Trinity Church, located above Mount Kazbeg.

The final stop will be the Rooms Hotel Kazbegi, offering views of Stepantsminda. After a total of 12 hours, we will return to the initial meeting point.
