Join the Prometheus Cave + Motsameta & Gelati Monasteries Tour to explore key landmarks in Georgia. The tour begins on Kote Abkhazi street at the scheduled time, followed by a three and a half hour journey to the Prometheus Cave, which was concealed until 1984.
Accompanied by a guide, participants will walk over a kilometre through the cave, observing stalagmites, stalactites, and an underground river within the expansive stone halls.
A lunch break is planned around 1 pm in a local village. Afterward, the tour continues to the Motsameta and Gelati Monasteries, where visitors will explore royal tombs and multiple churches while enjoying scenic vistas. Each monastery visit will last between 30 and 40 minutes.
The tour concludes with a return to Tbilisi, with an estimated four-hour drive back, totaling 13 hours from start to finish.
