By booking your ticket to the Costa Teguise Aquarium, you'll visit the largest aquarium in the Canary Islands, featuring over 1 million litres of water distributed across 33 spaces showcasing hundreds of marine species.

As you explore the aquarium, you'll see typical Canarian species such as moray eels, bream, gilt-head bream, and Canary damsels, along with brightly coloured tropical fish. The aquarium includes a variety of sharks in its underwater tunnel and a central tank with a capacity of 500,000 litres.

For educational purposes, the aquarium offers 3 tanks with touch screens where you can learn about unique species, including sea urchins and cucumbers.

During your visit, you'll also witness initiatives aimed at raising awareness about environmental concerns and pollution. A special feature is the 'rubbish aquarium,' which illustrates the current state of some parts of Lanzarote's coastline.

Opening hours

The Costa Teguise Aquarium is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm, with the last permitted admission at 5:15 pm.
