Tour Options
When booking your buggy tour in Guatiza and Mala, you can choose a 2 or 3-hour tour. Both options start at Calle Goleta before proceeding to the buggy location.
2-hour tour
The adventure begins along the dirt tracks of Guatiza, known for its historical economic boom in the 19th century due to red cochineal production. You'll learn about its uses during the tour. We will also visit Guatiza's quarries and the historic Los Cocoteros salt mines, operational since 1940. The tour concludes with a stop at the village of Mala to see cacti, reflecting the agricultural heritage of the area.
After the 2-hour experience, we will return to the meeting point.
3-hour tour
The enhanced 3-hour buggy tour follows the same path as the 2-hour tour but adds a visit to the Mala dam in the Palomo Valley. This site provides panoramic views of the Estanque ravine, showcasing stunning landscapes.
