Want to discover one of the most famous natural monuments of Gran Canaria? This Roque Nublo hiking tour will allow you to explore this volcanic formation that is so characteristic of the island. You'll walk among Canary pine trees and uncover the many enigmas surrounding this great rock.

Roque Nublo Hiking Tour

At 10 am, we'll meet at the Roque Nublo parking lot, located only half an hour's drive from the center of Tejeda. We'll start a 6 km hiking tour to explore the mountains of central Gran Canaria and discover one of the main icons of the island.

We will begin with an uphill walk, enjoying the silence of nature and the 360-degree views of the steep peaks of Gran Canaria. The tour avoids the most touristic trails, leading through unknown areas until we reach one of the highest points of the island at 1,813 meters.

During the Roque Nublo hike, we will traverse Canary pine forests to arrive at the viewpoint of the volcanic rock, which is a protected Biosphere Reserve. The hike will include discussions on the formation of this natural landmark and its historical significance as a place of worship for the indigenous people of Gran Canaria. Participants will also see the rocks of El Fraile and La Rana.

After the hike, we will conclude the tour at 2 pm at the starting point.
