Description
1-Day Trip
You will board a 50-minute flight from Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport to Ramon International Airport. Upon landing, you will be driven east to Jordan.
After a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive, you will reach Petra. During the guided tour, you will learn about the history of this ancient city, famously rediscovered by Jean Louis Burckhardt.
The tour includes the royal tombs and the iconic Treasury. A lunch with Arab specialties will follow before you return to the airport for your flight back to Ben Gurion Airport, arriving approximately 21 hours after departure.
2-Day Trip
Day 1
The itinerary is similar to the 1-day tour. After lunch, you will stay overnight in a cozy accommodation in Petra, where dinner is on your own.
Day 2
After breakfast, you will return to Petra to visit the Petra Monastery, the Great Temple of Petra, and the Qasr Al Bint Temple. The tour concludes at the Petra Museum, followed by lunch before transferring to Ramon Airport for your return flight, arriving at the Tel Aviv terminal around 9 pm.
