Description
At the scheduled time, you'll be picked up from the Hostel Abraham in Tel Aviv and we'll head towards the Palestinian territory of the West Bank.
After traversing the Judean mountains, we'll arrive at Hebron, one of the oldest cities in the Middle East. The tour begins with a visit to the Jewish side of the Tomb of the Patriarchs, a sacred site for Jews, Catholics, and Muslims.
We'll continue to the Jewish neighbourhood to visit the Abraham Avinue Synagogue, dating back to the 16th century. Next, we’ll proceed to the Beit Hadassah & Hebron Visitor Centre to learn more about the city's history.
The tour will include a visit to the Beit Romano Yeshivat Shavei Khevron and the Tel Rumeida archaeological site, where we’ll explore vestiges from the Chalcolithic period. Lunch will be available in the Hebron centre.
After lunch, we’ll return to the Tomb of the Patriarchs to visit the Muslim side and compare it with the Jewish side. We’ll then return to Tel Aviv.
The total duration of the tour is approximately 12 hours.
