On this tour to Hebron from Tel Aviv, you'll cross the Palestinian territory of the West Bank to visit a key city in the region.
Description
At the scheduled time, you'll be picked up from the Hostel Abraham in Tel Aviv, and we will head towards the Palestinian territory of the West Bank.
After crossing the Judean mountains, we will arrive at Hebron, one of the oldest cities in the Middle East. The tour starts with a visit to the Jewish side of the Tomb of the Patriarchs, the burial site of key biblical figures.
Next, we will explore the Jewish neighbourhood and visit the Abraham Avinue Synagogue, which dates back to the 16th century. This temple has significant historical relevance. Following this, we'll visit the Beit Hadassah & Hebron Visitor Centre to learn more about the city's history.
The tour continues at the Beit Romano Yeshivat Shavei Khevron, focusing on Hebrew culture. We will also stop at the Tel Rumeida archaeological site to observe vestiges from the Chalcolithic period. After lunch at the Hebron centre, we will return to the Tomb of the Patriarchs to visit the Muslim side and compare it with the Jewish side.
The tour concludes with our return to Tel Aviv, expected to take around 12 hours.
