On this tour to Hebron from Tel Aviv, you'll cross the Palestinian territory of the West Bank to visit one of the most fascinating cities in the Middle East. Don't miss out!

Description

At the scheduled time, you'll be picked up from the Hostel Abraham in Tel Aviv and make your way towards the Palestinian territory of the West Bank.

After traversing the Judean mountains, we'll arrive at Hebron. The tour begins by visiting the Jewish side of the Tomb of the Patriarchs, where according to tradition, notable couples are buried: Abraham and Sara, Isaac and Rebeca, and Jacob and Lea.

Next, we will visit the Jewish neighbourhood and the Abraham Avinue Synagogue, which dates back to the 16th century. Here, we will learn about its historical significance. The tour will proceed to the Beit Hadassah & Hebron Visitor Centre to explore more of the city’s past.

We will continue at the Beit Romano Yeshivat Shavei Khevron, dedicated to Hebrew culture, followed by a stop at the Tel Rumeida archaeological site, examining vestiges from the Chalcolithic period. Afterward, you'll have the opportunity to have lunch in Hebron.

Post-lunch, we will return to the Tomb of the Patriarchs to visit the Muslim side and compare it with the Jewish side. We will explore both the differences and similarities before returning to Tel Aviv.

We'll arrive back at the meeting point after approximately 12 hours.
