Visit the oldest city in the world with this tour to Jericho from Tel Aviv, exploring this iconic Biblical location.

Jericho Trip

We will collect you from the selected hotel in Tel Aviv at around 7:15 am and head towards Jericho, regarded as the oldest city globally. Our guide will provide insights about its origins and historical significance, while you explore the historic city center.

In Jericho, we will discuss the Biblical Battle of Jericho as detailed in the Book of Joshua. You will also see the sycamore tree associated with Zacchaeus and visit Elisha's Spring.

At the foot of Mount Temptation, you can take a ride to the summit on the Jericho cable car, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. We will also stop at the Greek Orthodox monastery located at the mountain's peak.

Continuing our historical exploration, we will visit Qaser el Yahud on the banks of the River Jordan, where Jesus was baptized, followed by a trip to the Dead Sea, where you can enjoy the mineral-rich waters.

After free time at the Dead Sea, we will begin the return journey, concluding the excursion around 5:15 pm.
