Once we have collected you from the selected hotel in Tel Aviv at around 7:15 am, we head towards Jericho, considered to be the oldest city in the world. Our guide will tell you all about its origins and why historians believe it to be so ancient. As you hear the fascinating facts and stories, you'll stroll around the beautiful historic city center.

We'll visit the Biblical city of Jericho, learning everything related to the Battle of the same name, when the Book of Joshua tells of the city walls which were supposed to have fallen. In addition, you'll also see the sycamore tree mentioned in the biblical account of Zacchaeus and we'll stop at Elisha's Spring.

We'll also head to the foot of Mount Temptation, where you have the option to take a fantastic ride to the summit in the famous Jericho cable car. From the top of this biblical mountain, you'll have prime panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Furthermore, we'll make a stop at the Greek Orthodox monastery that sits atop the mountain today.

We'll continue immersed in biblical history, making our way to Qaser el Yahud, on the banks of the River Jordan, where Jesus was baptized. Then it's on to the Dead Sea, where you can relax and make the most of the rejuvenating properties of the mineral-rich waters.

After enjoying free time in the Dead Sea, we'll begin the journey back to the starting point, finalizing the excursion at around 5:15 pm.
