Itinerary

Day 1: Tel Aviv - Aqaba - Wadi Rum

Depart from Ben Gurion Airport to catch a flight from Tel Aviv to Eilat, taking approximately 1 hour, compared to a 6-hour road trip. Upon landing at Ramon International Airport, board a bus to cross into Jordan, reaching Aqaba. Explore the narrow streets and visit an Ottoman fortress for panoramic views of Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.

After free time for lunch, switch to a 4x4 to explore the Wadi Rum desert, a World Heritage Site. Discover formations like the Seven Pillars of Wisdom and the Arch of Um Furth. Conclude the day at a camp for the night, after enjoying a desert sunset and dinner.

Day 2: Wadi Rum - Petra - Tel Aviv

After breakfast, travel by bus to Petra, with an option to purchase a picnic breakfast for the 1.5-hour journey. Explore the Siq Gorge and the Rose City with a guided tour, discovering its history and significance as the capital of the Nabataeans.

You will have 2 hours of free time in Petra, followed by lunch. Return to Eilat for the flight back to Tel Aviv, landing at Ben Gurion Airport around 10 pm.
