Petra & Wadi Rum Tour from Tel Aviv with Flights

Visit two must-see sites in Jordan on this 2-day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum. It includes flights between Tel Aviv and Eilat to avoid long journeys by road.

Itinerary

Day 1: Tel Aviv - Aqaba - Wadi Rum

At the scheduled time, go to Ben Gurion Airport for a flight from Tel Aviv to Eilat, taking about 1 hour compared to a 6-hour road journey. You'll arrive at Ramon International Airport and travel by bus across the border into Jordan, reaching Aqaba. You'll explore narrow streets and visit an Ottoman fortress with views of Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.

After free time for lunch, you'll switch to a 4x4 to explore Wadi Rum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Valley of the Moon. You'll see formations like the Seven Pillars of Wisdom and the Arch of Um Furth.

The day concludes with a stay at a desert camp, where you can enjoy a sunset and dinner.

Day 2: Wadi Rum - Petra - Tel Aviv

After breakfast, you'll travel by bus from Wadi Rum to Petra, with an optional picnic for breakfast during the journey. At Petra, you'll walk through the Siq Gorge and embark on a guided tour of the site, learning about its history as the capital of the Nabataeans and its significance as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

You'll have 2 hours of free time in Petra, followed by lunch and a return to Eilat. The flight back to Tel Aviv will land at Ben Gurion Airport at 10 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 night's accommodation with half-board at Magic Rum Camp. You can choose between a standard double room or a superior option resembling a space tent. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and wifi. If unavailable, accommodations of similar standards will be provided.
