Petra & Wadi Rum Tour from Tel Aviv with Flights

Visit two must-see sites in Jordan on this 2-day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum, including flights between Tel Aviv and Eilat to minimize travel time.

Itinerary

Day 1: Tel Aviv - Aqaba - Wadi Rum

At the designated time, go to Ben Gurion Airport for a flight from Tel Aviv to Eilat lasting 1 hour. By road, this journey would take about 6 hours. Upon arrival at Ramon International Airport, we will transfer by bus across the border to Aqaba, where we will explore the narrow streets and visit an Ottoman fortress for panoramic views of Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.

After free time for lunch, we will embark on a 4x4 tour in Wadi Rum, a World Heritage Site known as the Valley of the Moon, discovering its unique formations, including the Seven Pillars of Wisdom. We will then reach the camp for overnight stay, concluding the day with dinner and a sunset in the desert.

Day 2: Wadi Rum - Petra - Tel Aviv

After breakfast, we will take a bus from Wadi Rum to Petra, with an option to buy a picnic breakfast for the journey. Upon arrival, we will walk through the Siq Gorge to the Rose City and participate in a guided tour of this archaeological site, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

We will explore the history of the Nabataeans and their significant contributions, followed by 2 hours of free time in Petra for lunch. The day will conclude with our return to Eilat and a flight back to Tel Aviv, landing at Ben Gurion Airport at 10 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 night’s accommodation with half-board at Magic Rum Camp. Options include a standard double room or a superior room resembling a space tent, all with en-suite bathrooms and wifi. If fully booked, similar accommodations will be provided.
