The culinary tour begins on Kaufmann Street, leading us through the Kerem Ha Teimanim district, known for its restaurants specializing in Yemeni Jewish cuisine. Key dishes include malawach (unleavened pancakes), meat soups, hummus, and falafel.

We will then visit the vibrant Carmel Market, where an array of vegetables, fruits, and spices awaits. Participants will taste a selection of these products and learn to identify their varieties used in traditional Israeli recipes.

The tour highlights the ethnic diversity of Israel, presenting dishes like zaatar, a spice-filled bread; halva, a semolina dessert; and Dolmas, Turkish vine leaf rolls filled with rice, meat, and nuts.

We conclude the tour at Carmel Market with freshly squeezed fruit juice, after which guests are welcome to revisit their favorite stalls.
