Description

We'll meet at the indicated time at the main entrance of the archaeological site of Teotihuacan, in front of the Citadel. There we'll begin an exciting guided tour of the city of the gods!

The beginnings of this great city are uncertain, but it had its heyday during the 3rd and 7th centuries A.D. We'll learn about its history while visiting its most emblematic monuments, such as the Avenue of the Dead, the Palace of the Jaguars, and the Palace of Quetzalpapalotl. An option is available to climb the Quetzalpapalotl temple.

Next, we'll stop in front of the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon to explore their enigmatic questions. The base of the Pyramid of the Sun is known as the second-largest pre-Hispanic building in Mesoamerica. We will also discuss the goddess of agriculture in the early Toltec culture.

Finally, after a 2.5-3 hour tour of the archaeological site, we'll conclude the activity back at the meeting point.
