Take this bike ride that follows the old train tracks linking the towns of Otumba and Axapusco with Teotihuacan. This adventure is suitable for sports enthusiasts.
Otumba and Axapusco Trip
At the specified time, we will meet on Calle Emiliano Zapata, where bike rentals are available if needed. From there, we will start our journey, leaving Teotihuacan behind.
We will cycle for 18 miles along the old train tracks connecting Teotihuacan and Axapusco. The route features a cactus landscape, leading us to our first stop: Otumba. This small town hosts the Railway Museum, where we will learn about this transport's history.
After visiting Otumba, we will continue to Axapusco, where we will explore the historic center and visit the 16th-century Church of San Esteban. We will then enjoy a traditional Mexican meal to regain our energy.
With our strength renewed, we will return to Teotihuacan on our bikes, arriving back at the starting point after 6 hours.
