Teotihuacan Free Tour

Embark on an exploration of one of the key cities of ancient Mesoamerica with this complimentary tour of Teotihuacan's archaeological site. Prepare yourself for an intriguing voyage into the past!

Tour Overview

We will gather at the specified time at Emiliano Zapata Street, 2B, and from there, we'll head to the archaeological site of Teotihuacan to commence a free walking tour of this historical, pre-Columbian settlement.

Our initial stop will be in front of the magnificent Pyramid of the Moon, a hallmark monument within Teotihuacan. Following this, we will proceed to the Quetzalpapálotl Palace and the Patio de los Jaguares (Jaguar Courtyard), where we will marvel at stunning murals that depict felines and various symbolic icons representative of the Teotihuacan culture. Prepare to be impressed!

Next, we will visit Luna Square, the entrance to the renowned Calzada de los Muertos (Road of the Dead). Here, you will have an opportunity to capture a photograph with the grand Pyramid of the Moon as your backdrop. We will then stroll along the Calzada de los Muertos until we arrive at the Puma Mural, an artistic depiction highlighting the talent and symbolism of Teotihuacan's ancient inhabitants. Afterward, we will head to the Pyramid of the Sun, where you can appreciate its impressive scale and discover its cultural and ceremonial importance.

After a duration of about 2 hours, this complimentary tour will conclude at the On-Site Museum. Should you wish to further explore Teotihuacan, you are welcome to do so at your leisure.
