Teotihuacán Quad Tour

Explore a historical site full of mysticism in a unique way on this quad tour of Teotihuacán. A fun and exciting way to learn about Mexico's past!

Tour Options

When booking, you'll have two different options to choose from. Both routes start at 9 am at the main entrance of the archaeological site of Teotihuacán and include an English-speaking guide and quad rental.

2 Hour Tour

On this route, we'll ride around the surroundings of the archaeological site of Teotihuacán, admiring the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon in the distance. We will attend a cocoa workshop to learn about the importance of this product in pre-Hispanic societies and properties of chocolate. Additionally, you'll taste pulque, a traditional drink of the region.

Afterward, we'll return to the quads and continue to the entrance of the city's caves, a network used for funerary and fertility rites. We will also learn about the maguey plant on a tour of the cactus and agave plantations.

3 Hour Tour

This option will take us to the second largest structure of Teotihuacán: the Pyramid of the Moon, located at the end of the Avenue of the Dead and dating back to 100 AD. You will experience the site on a quad.

We will attend a chocolate workshop, taste pulque, and visit the cave beneath the Pyramid of the Sun. You will see the flower-shaped chamber at the end, noted for its astronomical significance.
