3-Day Tour Serra da Capivara National Park

Description

Day 1

Set off from your lodging in Teresina early in the morning to start this 3-day exploration of the Serra da Capivara National Park. Our first destination is Sítio João Pimenta, where we expect to arrive by around 12:30 pm.

Upon arrival, you will be able to appreciate the lush greenery and striking rock formations found within the park. This site also features various cave locations that were once home to prehistoric communities. It's time to step back into history!

Following 6 hours of exploring these fascinating sites, we will head to our accommodations for the night. Until tomorrow!

Day 2

Start your day with breakfast at 7 am, and one hour later, we'll embark on a moderately challenging hike covering approximately 5 kilometers (3.1 miles). After around 4 hours, we will return to our lodging to recharge for the evening.

After a restful break, we'll proceed to visit the Nature Museum for 2 hours. Here, we'll discover the geological history of our planet across 12 unique rooms. Notably, this museum is built on a site of great significance. You are sure to be captivated!

Ultimately, we'll return to our accommodations, where you can unwind and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will visit the Museum of the American Man, spending 2 hours exploring the evolution of humanity from prehistoric eras. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to view several artifacts from various archaeological sites.

Following this insightful visit, we will have lunch, and at 2 pm, we will begin our return journey to Teresina, concluding our 3-day adventure around 8 pm.
