3-Day Tour Serra da Capivara National Park

Discover the Serra da Capivara National Park on this 3-day tour, during which we'll go on hikes, visit museums, and admire views from several viewpoints.

Description

Day 1

We'll leave your accommodation in Teresina early to begin this tour around the Serra da Capivara National Park. Our first stop will be at Sítio João Pimenta, arriving around 12:30 pm. You'll explore the rock formations and various cave sites from prehistoric communities. After 6 hours of visiting, we'll head to our accommodation for the night.

Day 2

Breakfast will be at 7 am, and at 8 am we'll start a moderately difficult hike of approximately 5 kilometers (3.1 miles), lasting around 4 hours. Afterward, we'll return to regain energy until evening. We'll then visit the Nature Museum for 2 hours, covering the geological evolution of Earth in 12 rooms. We'll return to our accommodation for the evening to rest.

Day 3

After breakfast, we'll visit the Museum of the American Man for 2 hours, where we'll explore the evolution of man with pieces from archaeological sites. Following our visit, we'll have lunch and at 2 pm begin our return journey to Teresina, expected to arrive around 8 pm.
