At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Teresina for a 3-hour minibus journey to Pedro II, located in Serra dos Matões.

We will explore the old town of Pedro II and its natural areas. The tour includes a walk through the town center, viewing historic houses, ancient squares and churches, notably the Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Conceição. We'll explain the significance of the city's name related to one of Brazil's important emperors.

Next, we will visit Mirante de São João for picturesque mountain views, then proceed to Mirante do Gritador, which rises 984 feet (300 meters) and offers spectacular views of the valley.

We conclude with a visit to the archeological site of Torre II, where cave paintings reveal the region's ancient history.
