On this free tour of Teresina, we'll discover all of the main attractions of the capital of Piauí, and walk along the famous Frei Serafim Avenue.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Central de Artesanato, where we'll explore various shops offering traditional Piauí products.
We'll continue to Praça Pedro II, home to the Teatro 4 de Setembro, the state's premier concert venue. Adjacent is Avenida Frei Serafim, the city's main thoroughfare, known for hosting cultural events, demonstrations, and political protests. We will stroll along this avenue, visiting the exterior of the Palácio Karnak, the government headquarters, and the São Benedito Church.
After walking along Frei Serafim Avenue, we will conclude our tour outside the Karnak Palace and the church of São Benedito.
