Tour of Chaves, Boticas, & Montalegre

This tour starts with a visit to Montalegre, known for its 12th-century castle on the hilltop. At the Ecomuseum of Montalegre, learn about the history and heritage of the municipality. Next, visit Boticas, where you'll have an hour of free time for lunch (not included) and explore the Rural Museum showcasing old agricultural tools. The final stop is Chaves, home to a medieval fortress declared a National Monument, the Roman bridge of Trajano, and the Chaves hot springs before returning to Montalegre.

Tour of Chaves, Valpaços, & Vila Pouca de Aguiar
