Tour of Chaves, Boticas, & Montalegre

This option begins with a visit to Montalegre, featuring its 12th-century castle. Next, at the Ecomuseum of Montalegre, you'll learn about the local history and heritage. The tour continues to Boticas, where you'll have an hour of free time for lunch (not included) at traditional eateries after touring its Rural Museum showcasing old agricultural tools. Lastly, we visit Chaves to see its medieval fortress, a National Monument, the Roman bridge of Trajano, and the Chaves hot springs before returning to Montalegre.

Tour of Chaves, Valpaços, & Vila Pouca de Aguiar

This choice includes the highlights of Chaves and other notable sites in Trás-os-Montes. You'll explore Vila Pouca de Aguiar and visit the Parque de Pedras Salgadas, with its unique stone formations. Additionally, in Valpaços, you will learn about local winemaking traditions at the Wine Museum. You may decide which areas to visit.
