Somiedo Natural Park Snowshoe Hike

After meeting at your chosen location, we will prepare to embark on a snowshoe tour through Somiedo Natural Park. Snowshoes will be provided, and a brief orientation on equipment usage will be given before we begin exploring Asturias' trails. We will visit various passes depending on the meeting point, such as Piedraxueves at 5,020 feet (1,530 meters) or the Trobaniello trail. Participants can expect to observe the region's abundant wildlife and views of the peaks of Las Ubiñas and Somiedo.

After reaching the end of the route, a break will allow us to enjoy the scenery before descending through snowy fields and birch forests. The entire hike will last four to five hours, concluding back at the starting point.

Equipment rental

Participants have the option to book equipment rental that includes poles and snowshoes. Alternatively, if you have your own equipment, you can select the no-rental option.
