Somiedo Natural Park Snowshoe Hike

After meeting at the selected location, we will prepare for a snowshoe tour through Somiedo Natural Park. Participants will receive a brief talk on using the snowshoe equipment before exploring the trails of Asturias. Depending on the meeting point, we may visit passes such as Piedraxueves, at an altitude of 5,020 feet (1,530 meters), or the Trobaniello trail. In both cases, we will observe the region's wildlife and the peaks of Las Ubiñas and Somiedo.

After the hike, we will take a break to enjoy the scenery before starting our descent through snow fields and birch forests. The hike will last approximately four to five hours.

Equipment rental

Participants can choose the option that includes rental of poles and snowshoes, or opt for the option without rental if they have their own equipment.
