Tour Details

At the appointed time, we'll meet in front of the statue of Eleftherios Venizelos in Thessaloniki and head west of the city.

After a journey of approximately 1 hour, we'll arrive at the archaeological site of Dion, dedicated to Zeus and an ancient settlement of the extinct Kingdom of Macedonia. Notable features include the theater, various temples and shrines.

Afterward, visit the Archaeological Museum of Dion, which houses classical sculptures, exquisite artifacts, and impressive mosaics showcasing daily life and artistic achievements of ancient inhabitants. We will continue our excursion into the interior of Greece.

We'll enter the Mount Olympus National Park, the highest mountain in Greece at 2,918 meters. There, we'll take an easy hike to the Agia Kori waterfall, enjoying a swim in its clear waters and discussing unexplained phenomena.

Next, we'll visit the Olympus National Park Information Center for an audiovisual exhibition on the park's ecosystem and cultural significance. Finally, enjoy lunch at a traditional Greek restaurant at your own pace.
