Come and discover one of Greece's hidden gems on this excursion to Meteora by train, where you can marvel at its monasteries and landscapes.

Meteora Tour by Train

Your train will depart from Thessaloniki Station towards Kalambaka at the indicated time.

Upon arrival at Kalambaka Station, our English-speaking driver will transport us to the Meteora Monasteries, located 20 minutes away. During the drive, the driver will provide insights into the origin and history of this monastic complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Once at the Meteora Mountains, we will have four hours to explore the monasteries: Great Meteoron, St. Nikolaos, Holy Trinity, St. Stephen, Varlaam, and Roussanou. Each monastery has unique features and art. We will admire the exterior of all and visit the interior of one or two.

After our visit, the driver will return us to Kalambaka train station, where you can rest until your return train departs. You will arrive back at Thessaloniki Station after a wonderful day exploring this beautiful location.
