Enjoy a day surrounded by nature on this day trip to the Pozar thermal baths and Edessa. The perfect place to relax if you're in Thessaloniki!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Statue of Eleftherios Venizelos and leave Thessaloniki. Prepare to relax in the Pozar thermal baths and explore the ancient city of Edessa.

Firstly, we'll visit Pozar, located about 100 kilometres (62 miles) from Thessaloniki. These natural pools offer a unique experience with icy waters from the mountains and thermal waters at 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit).

You can benefit from the health advantages of these thermal baths at the foot of the Voras Mountains, which may assist in treating arthritis, poor circulation, respiratory issues, and skin problems.

After 2 hours of relaxation, we'll head to Edessa, the ancient capital of the Macedonian kingdom. Upon arrival, you'll have an hour and a half for lunch at one of the restaurants. After lunch, we will visit the famous waterfalls of Edessa for photos.

Finally, after a total of 8 to 9 hours of sightseeing, we'll return to the starting point in Thessaloniki to conclude the tour.
