Enjoy a day surrounded by nature on this day trip to the Pozar thermal baths and Edessa. The perfect place to relax if you're in Thessaloniki!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Statue of Eleftherios Venizelos and leave Thessaloniki behind. Prepare to sit back and relax in the Pozar thermal baths and explore the ancient city of Edessa.

Firstly, we'll visit Pozar, located about 100 kilometers (62 miles) from Thessaloniki. Here, you will enjoy the natural pools that offer a contrast between the icy waters from the mountains and the thermal waters at 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit). These inland thermal baths can help treat arthritis, poor circulation, as well as respiratory and skin problems.

After 2 hours of relaxation, we'll head to Edessa, the ancient capital of the Macedonian kingdom. Upon arrival, you'll have an hour and a half of free time for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we'll visit the famous waterfalls of Edessa for excellent photo opportunities.

Finally, after a total of 8 to 9 hours of sightseeing, we'll return to the starting point in Thessaloniki to conclude the tour.
