Description

We will gather at the Statue of Eleftherios Venizelos at the scheduled time, setting off to leave Thessaloniki behind. Prepare for a rejuvenating visit to the Pozar thermal springs followed by an exploration of the historic city of Edessa.

Our first stop is Pozar, a truly enchanting destination where a memorable relaxation experience awaits. Situated approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles) from Thessaloniki, these natural hot springs provide a unique experience characterized by the crisp mountain waters mingling with the warmth of the therapeutic waters at 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit).

Here, you can benefit from the therapeutic properties of these inland springs nestled at the base of the Voras Mountains. These thermal waters are known to assist with conditions such as arthritis, circulation issues, and skin and respiratory ailments.

Following two hours of winding down, we will proceed to Edessa, recognized as the historical capital of the Macedonian kingdom. Upon arrival, you'll have an hour and a half of leisure time to enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants. Once we’re recharged, we’ll head to the iconic waterfalls of Edessa, a perfect backdrop for stunning photographs.

In total, this excursion spans 8 to 9 hours of exploration before we make our way back to Thessaloniki, concluding our journey.
