On this Santorini tour, we'll visit the famous Akrotiri archaeological site and the Red Beach. We'll also see the magical sunset of Oia!

Akrotiri, Red Beach & Oia Day Trip

We'll pick you up at your selected meeting point in Santorini. There, we'll board a comfortable air-conditioned minibus to start our excursion to Akrotiri, the Red Beach, and Oia.

Our first stop will be the Prophet Elias Monastery, an Orthodox complex built in 1712, located on the highest point of Santorini. Next, we'll visit the village of Pyrgos, where you can stroll through its narrow streets.

The next stop will be the archaeological site of Akrotiri, a notable site from the prehistoric period, associated with the lost city of Atlantis. Much of the site is well preserved due to various volcanic eruptions. We'll see remains of ancient buildings, including some with Minoan frescoes.

Afterwards, we'll visit Red Beach, where you'll have approximately 40 minutes of free time to enjoy the area and have lunch at local restaurants.

Next, we will travel to Fira, the capital of Santorini, providing opportunities for excellent photos of the Caldera.

Finally, we'll head to the village of Oia to admire one of the world's most famous sunsets. The tour will conclude with a return to the starting point.

This tour includes pickup from various hotels and meeting points in Santorini, with options available during booking. Note that we do not pick up from the Costa Grand Hotel in the Kamari area.
