The Atlantic seabed is home to exceptional marine biodiversity. On our Puerto del Carmen Beginners Scuba Diving Lesson, you'll get to see this with your own eyes as you take your first steps in an exciting sport.

Description

It's time to explore the depths of the Atlantic Ocean and its unique marine habitats! We'll meet you on Roque Nublo St in Puerto del Carmen at 9 am and start with a 45-minute theory class covering techniques for your beginner's lesson.

Afterwards, we'll grab all the equipment we need and hop into a vehicle that'll take us to Playa Chica. We'll then walk along the sand towards the sea to begin our dive down to a depth of 20 feet (6 metres).

During the dive, we'll see shoals of fish and may spot turtles, sea urchins, and starfish. Keep your eyes peeled for algae and plants that thrive in this underwater habitat.

We'll then swim back to shore and return to the starting point, where we'll finish our activity at around 12 noon.

After doing this activity, you'll need to wait at least 24 hours before boarding a plane.
