On this visit to the Finca Testeina of the Vega de Yuco winery, we will discover the essence of Lanzarote's wines while touring the vineyards and the historic house. We will taste two organic wines and the best artisan chocolates of the island.

Activity Details

We will meet at the entrance of Finca Testeina at the designated time. Upon arrival, we will enter the historic house located in the protected landscape of La Geria and the Natural Park of Los Volcanes.

The visit begins with a walk through the vineyard at the foot of the Testeina Volcano, where we will learn about the history of vine cultivation in Lanzarote, its varieties and characteristics.

We will discuss the Finca Testeina of the Vega de Yuco winery, which has produced wines with the Denomination of Origin Vinos de Lanzarote since 1997. We will cover the types of wines produced and vineyard cultivation techniques on the island.

After learning about the Malvasía Volcánica and Listán Negro grapes, we'll taste two organic wines while admiring the unique vineyard landscape. We will explore how the volcanic eruptions of Timanfaya influenced these lands.

To conclude, we will have a tasting of organic wines paired with chocolate bonbons from an artisan bakery on the island, surrounded by the volcano of Testeina and the Natural Park of Los Volcanes. The guided tour lasts 1.5 hours.
