On this visit to the Finca Testeina of the Vega de Yuco winery, we will explore Lanzarote's wines through a tour of the vineyards and historic house. The experience includes tasting two organic wines and artisan chocolates from the island.

Vega de Yuco Testeina Winery Visit

We will meet at the entrance of Finca Testeina at the scheduled time. The visit begins in the historic house located within the La Geria landscape and the Natural Park of Los Volcanes.

The tour starts with a walk through the vineyard, situated at the base of the Testeina Volcano, where we will learn about the history of vine cultivation in Lanzarote, including its varieties and characteristics.

We will discuss the Finca Testeina of the Vega de Yuco winery, which has been producing wines under the Denomination of Origin Vinos de Lanzarote since 1997. Information about the types of wines produced and vineyard cultivation methods will be provided.

After learning about the Malvasía Volcánica and Listán Negro grapes, we will taste two organic wines while observing the unique vineyard landscape. Insights into how the Timanfaya volcanic eruptions affected these lands will be shared.

The experience culminates in a tasting of organic wines paired with chocolate bonbons from a local artisan bakery, set against the backdrop of the Testeina volcano and the Natural Park of Los Volcanes.

The guided tour will conclude after an hour and a half.
