On this visit to the Finca Testeina of the Vega de Yuco winery, we will discover Lanzarote's wines while touring the vineyards and the historic house. This includes tasting two organic wines and artisan chocolates.

Vega de Yuco Testeina Winery Visit

We will meet at the entrance of Finca Testeina at the designated time. The visit begins in the historic house located within the protected landscape of La Geria and the Natural Park of Los Volcanes.

The tour will start with a walk through the vineyard at the foot of the Testeina Volcano, discussing the history of vine cultivation in Lanzarote, including its varieties and characteristics.

We will cover the history of the Finca Testeina of the Vega de Yuco winery, producing wines with the Denomination of Origin Vinos de Lanzarote since 1997. Information about the types of wines produced and vineyard cultivation will be provided.

After learning about the Malvasía Volcánica and Listán Negro grapes, we will taste two organic wines while enjoying the surrounding vineyard landscape and discussing the impact of the volcanic eruptions of Timanfaya.

To conclude, there will be a tasting of organic wines paired with chocolate bonbons from a local artisan bakery, set against the backdrop of the volcano of Testeina and the Natural Park of Los Volcanes.

The guided tour will conclude an hour and a half later.
