Hike Details

We'll meet at the indicated time on the dirt road of Montaña Testeina, located in Tías, Las Palmas. From there, we'll start this hiking route through the unique environment surrounding the famous Timanfaya National Park.

The route will be of medium difficulty, covering a distance of 7 km (4.3 mi). As we walk through the landscapes shaped by the action of the lava, we'll learn how the craters, tunnels, and cones from various volcanic eruptions in past centuries originated naturally.

During the hike, we'll also appreciate the different chromatic contrasts of the terrain: ochres, browns, greys, and intense blacks. The Volcanoes Natural Park presents a diverse palette of colours.

After a total of 3 hours, we'll return to the meeting point.
