Martín García Island Boat Trip
At 8:30 am, we will meet at the Estación Fluvial in Tigre to board a boat at 9 am for a two-hour journey across the River Plate.
Upon arrival, a guided tour will take you to the historical sites on the island, which is known for being the only dry border between Argentina and Uruguay. We will pass an old military prison, where Juan Domingo Perón was confined in 1945, and visit the Historical Museum, Urquiza Theatre, Stone Quarries, and Chinatown.
We will also discover the House of Rubén Darío. Around 1 pm, a stop will be made at a restaurant for a meal consisting of barbecue with salad and a drink.
After lunch, you will have two and a half hours of free time to explore the island. At 5 pm, we will meet at the dock to board the boat back to Tigre.
The activity concludes at 7:45 pm at the starting point.
