Tijuana Private Day Trips

If you're spending a few days in Tijuana and would like to explore more of Baja California, our private day trips are ideal. Both activities start at 9 am and include hotel pick-up, transport by minibus, and an English-speaking guide.

Tecate Day Trip (8 hours)

After hotel pick-up, we will travel to Tecate, where you can enjoy panoramic views. We will visit the desert area of La Rumorosa, traveling along its renowned winding road to see unique rock formations shaped by wind erosion. Next, we will stop at a traditional bakery for bread baked in a brick oven, followed by a visit to the El Vallecito Archaeological Zone, which features 23 paintings and petroglyphs in a Yumanes cave. Depending on availability, we may go to either Camp Alaska or the Kumiai Community Museum to learn about Tecate's history, followed by 1 hour of free time for lunch before returning to Tijuana.

Guadalupe Valley Wine Tour (9 hours)

This tour takes you to the Guadalupe Valley, a key wine region in Mexico. You will meet three vineyard families who will explain their work from vineyard care to bottling processes. There will be wine tastings, where you'll try varieties such as chardonnay, clombard, and merlot. Before returning to Tijuana, you will also have 1 hour in Puerto Nuevo for lunch.

The vineyards visited during the Guadalupe Valley wine tour may change based on availability, with options including Baron Balché, Cetto, Casa Magoni, Santo Tomás, Viñedos de la Reina, or Pedro Domecq.
