Tijuana Private Day Trips

If you're spending a few days in Tijuana and wish to explore Baja California, our private day trips are ideal. Both activities start at 9 am and include hotel pick up, transport by minibus, and an English-speaking guide.

Tecate Day Trip (8 hours)

After hotel pickup, we'll travel to the town of Tecate to enjoy panoramic views. Next, we'll visit the desert area of La Rumorosa, observing its winding road and unique rock formations. We will sample bread from a traditional bakery and visit the El Vallecito Archaeological Zone, featuring 23 paintings and petroglyphs from the Yumanes. Subject to availability, we may visit either Camp Alaska or the Kumiai Community Museum to learn about Tecate's history. Afterward, you'll have 1 hour of free time for lunch before returning to Tijuana.

Guadalupe Valley Wine Tour (9 hours)

This trip focuses on the Guadalupe Valley, one of Mexico's key wine regions. We will meet three vineyard families who will share their vineyard to bottling processes. Each estate includes a wine tasting featuring whites, chardonnay, clombard, and merlot. You will participate in the visual, olfactory, and taste phases of the tasting. Before returning to Tijuana, you'll have 1 hour of free time in Puerto Nuevo for lunch.
