Your journey begins with a hotel pickup in Tilcara, followed by a three-hour minibus ride to the town of Iruya.
On the way, you'll learn about the historical methods of food harvesting in terraced fields and the use of water from mountain slopes. The scenery during the drive is noteworthy.
Upon arrival in Iruya, we will take a guided tour of the town, covering its history and key landmarks, including the church, cobbled streets, and central square. We'll visit a viewpoint to appreciate the town's unique mountain location, providing excellent photo opportunities.
Participants will have 1 hour of free time before departure to explore further or have lunch. The return journey will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel in Tilcara approximately 10 hours after the trip starts.
