Join us on our day trip to Iruya and explore Tilcara's surroundings. You'll travel back in time through Argentina's colonial past as you stroll through the town's cobblestone streets.

Iruya Day Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Tilcara at the scheduled time and head to the town of Iruya. The minibus journey will take around three hours.

During the trip, we'll learn about the historical harvesting methods of residents in the terraced fields and their use of mountain water. The scenery will be remarkable as we drive.

Upon arrival in Iruya, we'll take a guided tour of the town to learn about its history and key landmarks. This includes visiting the church, walking through the cobbled streets, and going to the central square. Additionally, we'll visit a viewpoint for a unique perspective of the town's location. You'll have the opportunity to take photos of this town nestled in the mountains.

Before returning, we'll provide you with 1 hour of free time to explore further and grab lunch if desired. We will drive back and drop you off at your hotel in Tilcara approximately 10 hours later.
