Iruya Day Trip

Join us on our day trip to Iruya and explore Tilcara's surroundings. You'll travel back in time through Argentina's colonial past as you stroll through the town's cobblestone streets.

Iruya Day Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Tilcara at the scheduled time to head to Iruya. The minibus journey will take around three hours.

During the trip, we will learn about how residents harvested their food in terraced fields and utilized the water flowing down the mountain slopes. Enjoy the scenic views as we drive.

Upon arrival in Iruya, we will have a guided tour of the town to learn about its history and key locations. Highlights include the church, cobbled streets, and the central square, as well as a viewpoint showcasing the town's unique location, perfect for photos of the town that appears to be hanging from the mountains.

Before we return, you will have 1 hour of free time to explore further or have lunch if desired. Finally, we will drive back and drop you off at your hotel in Tilcara in about 10 hours.
