Explore the natural landscapes, historic ruins and picturesque towns of northern Argentina on this tour of the Quebrada de Humahuaca valley from Tilcara.
Quebrada de Humahuaca Tour
At 11:00 am on the day of the excursion, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tilcara and board a bus to explore the Quebrada de Humahuaca, known for its colorful rock formations and ancient ruins.
Our first stop will be at Maimará, to visit the Paleta del Pintor.
Next, we will travel to Uquía to see the famous paintings of angels for which the town is known.
We will then proceed to Humahuaca, the largest city in the valley, where we will enjoy a guided walking tour of the historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Notable highlights include the Heroes of the Independence Monument and the Cathedral.
After the tour, you will have an hour of free time for lunch before we return to Tilcara, where you will be dropped off at your hotel at 3:30 pm.
