Chichén Itzá Ticket: Skip the Line

At a time of your choice, you'll present your ticket at the Chichén Itzá Archaeological Site ticket office and receive your ticket to start exploring the site at your leisure.

As soon as you enter, you'll be captivated by the site's size and preservation. You'll experience the peak of the Mayan civilization.

On the esplanade, you'll see the Pyramid in honor of the god Kukulkán, also known as the "Castillo". Nearby, two serpent heads, effigies of Kukulkan, adorn the north staircase. The Chichén Itzá Pyramid also served as an enormous calendar.

Your ticket also grants access to the Temple of the Warriors with engraved battle scenes and the Ball Game, a popular sport of Mesoamerica's pre-Columbian civilizations.

Opening hours

Chichén Itzá is open from Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm. Final admission is at 4 pm, and the following areas close at this time: the Ball game, the Sacred Cenote, the Thousand Pillars Square, the Observatory and the Las Monjas Complex.

Fares and Gratuities

The skip-the-line ticket includes admission fees and is the same for locals and visitors from abroad.The official ticket price at the ticket office with a queue is lower (95MXN per person), plus a government tax (548MXN for foreigners and 190MXN for nationals). For this ticket, you must buy it at the ticket office and wait in line.The following people pay a reduced rate: those over 60, retirees, teachers, active students, people with disabilities, and researchers with INAH permits (valid identification required).
