Chichén Itzá Guided Tour
We will meet at the scheduled time at the Chichén Itzá Archaeological Site in the north of the Yucatán Peninsula. The tour begins with an exploration of the golden age of Mayan civilization, led by a guide expert in local history. Participants will learn about the myths and realities of this significant pre-Hispanic city, covering topics such as architecture, culture, art, and history, including some words in the Maya language.
The iconic pyramid dedicated to the God Kukulkán, known as 'The Castle', is a focal point, serving as a sacred calendar for the Mayans. The tour includes a close view of the Temple of the Warriors and its thousand columns, as well as insights into the Mesoamerican ballgame.
