Durrës Day Trip + Winery Visit

The Roman amphitheatre, the Sfinski Monument, and the historic center... Join us to explore the wonders of Durrës on this day trip from Tirana.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at Rruga e Dibrës and drive to Durres, an important city in Albania, which takes approximately 50 minutes. Our guided tour will begin with a visit to the Roman amphitheatre, one of the largest in the Balkan Peninsula. Here, we will learn about its history and architecture.

Next, we will visit the Sfinksi Monument, a modern structure that offers views of the coast and city. We will then explore the historic centre of Durrës, experiencing its lively streets filled with cafés, historic buildings, and markets while discussing the city's origins.

Continuing the tour, we will travel 30 minutes to the Duka winery for a 40-minute tour focused on the winemaking process, Albanian grape varieties, and soil properties.

After the tour, we will enjoy a traditional lunch featuring homemade Raki, assorted appetizers, a meat main course, fresh salad, dessert, wines, and water.

After lunch, you will have free time to relax by the lake near the winery, where you can choose between a kayak or a boat ride.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point in Tirana, concluding this 8-hour tour.
