Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the indicated time at Rruga e Dibrës and drive to Durres, one of the most important cities in Albania.

After approximately 50 minutes' drive, we'll reach our destination and begin our guided tour of Durres.

We'll first head to the Roman amphitheatre, the main attraction of the city and one of the largest in the Balkan Peninsula. During our visit, we'll learn about its history and architectural details.

Next, we'll visit the Sfinksi Monument, a modern structure that offers views of the coast and city. We'll then explore the historic centre of Durrës, strolling through its lively streets filled with cafés, historic buildings, and markets while discussing the city's origins.

We'll continue to the Duka winery, a 30-minute drive away, where a 40-minute tour will cover the winemaking process and local grape varieties.

After the tour, we will enjoy a traditional lunch of homemade Raki, including appetizers, a meat main course, fresh seasonal salad, dessert, wines, and water.

Post-lunch, you will have free time to relax by the lake, with options for a kayak or a boat ride.

Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Tirana, concluding this 8-hour tour.
