Durrës Day Trip + Winery Visit

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the indicated time at Rruga e Dibrës and drive to Durres, one of the most important cities in Albania.

After approximately 50 minutes' drive, we'll reach our destination and begin our guided tour of Durres.

We'll first visit the Roman amphitheatre, one of the largest in the Balkan Peninsula. During our visit, we’ll learn about its history and architectural features, including the fact that a third of the structure is supported by natural means.

Next, we'll see the Sfinksi Monument, which offers views of the coast and city. We will then explore the historic centre of Durrës, wandering through vibrant streets filled with cafés and historic buildings while recounting the city's origins.

Continuing our tour, we will travel 30 minutes to the Duka winery. Upon arrival, we will embark on a 40-minute tour to learn about the winemaking process and local grape varieties.

Following the tour, we will enjoy a traditional lunch with homemade Raki, including appetizers, a meat main course, a fresh salad, dessert, wines, and water.

After lunch, you'll have free time to relax by the lake, with options to kayak or take a boat ride. We will then reconvene and return to the meeting point in Tirana, concluding this 8-hour tour.
