Tour Details
We'll meet on the corner of Juárez Street and Progreso Street to begin this tram tour of the old town of San Pedro Tlaquepaque. This cultural adventure will take you to significant sites such as the Casa del Artesano, Plaza Amantolli, Plaza Pavo Real, Plazoleta del Arte, and Azulejos Talavera Cantú Gallery. You will have 10 to 15 minutes at each stop to explore and enjoy.
Along the way, you can enjoy a typical treat, with options like a nieve de garrafa or a raspado, depending on the day and time. The experience culminates in a 1-hour tram ride, returning to the starting point.
El Refugio Cultural Center & National Ceramics Award Museum
During booking, you can select an option that includes tickets to the El Refugio Cultural Center and the National Ceramics Award Museum along with your tram ride. The cultural center, housed in a building from 1885, features gardens, corridors, and exhibition spaces. The museum showcases winning pieces from the Pantaleón Panduro National Ceramics Award, celebrated for over 40 years.
Tram Schedule
The Tlaquepaque tram operates Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and departs every 60 minutes. The last departure is at 5 pm.
