Tour Overview
Our journey begins at the intersection of Juárez Street and Progreso Street, where we will set off on a fascinating tram tour through the charming streets of San Pedro Tlaquepaque. Prepare yourself for an engaging cultural exploration in this enchanting Pueblo Mágico.
As we travel, the traditional tram will pause at several notable landmarks: the Casa del Artesano, Plaza Amantolli, Plaza Pavo Real, Plazoleta del Arte, and the Azulejos Talavera Cantú Gallery. You will have around 10 to 15 minutes at each site to fully enjoy and absorb the local ambiance.
To add a delightful touch to your experience, a chance to savor a local delicacy awaits you. Depending on the day, you might indulge in a refreshing nieve de garrafa or a raspado. Prepare for a burst of authentic flavors!
After this hour-long tram excursion through Tlaquepaque, we will return to our initial meeting point to conclude the tour.
El Refugio Cultural Center & National Ceramics Award Museum
During the reservation process, you have the option to select a tour package that includes entry to the El Refugio Cultural Center and the National Ceramics Award Museum, complementing your tram experience.
Set within a historic structure dating back to 1885, the El Refugio Cultural Center invites visitors to wander through its gardens, walkways, and exhibit areas. Additionally, the National Ceramics Award Museum showcases award-winning pieces from the Pantaleón Panduro National Ceramics Award, a prestigious competition that has been celebrated for more than 40 years.
Tram Operating Hours
The Tlaquepaque tram operates from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm, with departures every 60 minutes. The final ride sets out at 5 pm.
