Tlaquepaque Exploration
At your selected time, we will gather next to the iconic giant letters of Tlaquepaque. Once the group is assembled, we will commence a guided walking tour to discover the key attractions within this charming Mexican municipality.
Throughout the excursion, we will discuss the significance of the town’s coat of arms and stroll along the Paseo de la Independencia, where you can admire notable historic mansions like Casa Luna, as well as numerous art galleries, including the acclaimed works of Sergio Bustamante.
Our route will also take us past the Regional Museum of Ceramics, where we’ll pause to share interesting insights into the indigenous crafts from the state of Jalisco that have contributed to Tlaquepaque's renowned reputation. Subsequently, we'll explore the parish church of San Pedro Apóstol and the parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Soledad.
During this visit, we’ll also enter the Hidalgo Garden, marvel at the beautifully arched facade of the Municipal Presidency, and stop by El Parián, famously known as the largest cantina globally.
To wrap up this enriching 2-hour experience, we will partake in a traditional sweets workshop, unveiling the secrets of the region’s most beloved culinary delights.
