Two of the most beautiful Magical Towns of the state of Tlaxcala await you on this excursion to Huamantla and Tlaxco. Learn about ancient traditions, visit the Barca de la Fe, and see examples of colonial and French architecture.

Huamantla & Tlaxco Tour

Between 9 and 9:30 am, pickup will be at the meeting point of your choice to head by minibus to Huamantla. Located at 2,400 meters (7874 feet) above sea level, Huamantla is known for its Art Nouveau architecture and numerous churches. The itinerary includes a stroll through the historic center and a visit to the puppet museum, which features up to 500 puppet pieces.

Following Huamantla, the group will proceed to Tlaxco, with a stop at the small town of José María Morelos Buenavista to visit the Barca de la Fe, a church replicating the Santa Maria from Columbus' voyage. Afterward, there will be a visit to a 'pulque hacienda' to learn about the production of pulque, followed by a meal featuring a two-course lunch with dessert and beverages.

The last stop will be the Magical Town of Tlaxco, where the group will walk through the old town to admire its colonial architecture and visit an artisan cheese factory. The tour concludes with a return to the starting points between 4:30 pm and 5 pm.
