Huamantla & Tlaxco Tour

Starting between 9 and 9:30 am, we will pick you up at your selected meeting point and travel by minibus to Huamantla.

Located at 2,400 meters (7874 feet) above sea level, Huamantla features significant cattle-raising traditions, Art Nouveau architecture, numerous churches, and a puppet museum showcasing up to 500 pieces critical to the town's culture.

We will then proceed to Tlaxco, with a stop at José María Morelos Buenavista to explore the Barca de la Fe, a church replicating Santa Maria, the ship of Christopher Columbus. Following this, we will visit a 'pulque hacienda' to learn about pulque production, enjoy a tasting, and have a two-course lunch with dessert and beverages.

The last destination will be Tlaxco, known for its colonial architecture and as one of Mexico's highest towns. During our visit, we will explore the old town and tour an artisan cheese factory.
