Peña del Rey Hiking Tour

Between 7 and 7:25 am, we'll pick you up at the agreed meeting point and head north to Peña del Rey in a 4x4 vehicle. Once we arrive, we'll begin a three-hour hike up Peña del Rey. During the ascent, we will observe the park's vegetation and learn about the local fauna.

We will make several stops for photos and enjoy the scenery. Halfway along the route, we will have a breakfast consisting of two dishes, juice, fruit, and coffee. The hike will lead us to the summit of Peña del Rey, offering a panoramic view of Tlaxco and the Neovolcanic Axis mountains, with Citlaltépetl visible at 5636 meters (18491 feet)!

We will begin our return journey, taking about two hours. We will stop for lunch, which includes three courses of country delicacies. Afterward, we will head to Apizaco for a temazcal ritual, a traditional steam bath known for its medicinal purposes.

We will conclude the activity between 7 pm and 8 pm at the starting point.
