Peña del Rey Hiking Tour

Between 7 and 7:25 am we'll pick you up at the agreed meeting point and travel north to Peña del Rey in a 4x4 vehicle.

Upon arrival, we'll start a three-hour hike up Peña del Rey. As we ascend, we'll observe the vegetation of the natural park and learn about the local fauna.

Several stops will be made for photos and to enjoy the scenery. Midway, we'll have breakfast with two dishes, juice, fruit, and coffee.

The hike will lead us to the summit of Peña del Rey, providing a panoramic view of Tlaxco and the Neovolcanic Axis, with Citlaltépetl visible at 5636 metres (18491 feet).

We will start the return journey, taking about two hours, with a break for lunch featuring three courses of country delicacies.

After lunch, we will head to Apizaco for a temazcal ritual, a traditional steam bath used for medicinal purposes, promoting relaxation.

We will conclude the activity between 7 pm and 8 pm at the starting point.
