Immerse yourself in Tokyo's ancient history with this guided tour of the Asakusa district, a corner of the city filled with ancient temples and Japanese tradition.
Asakusa Guided Tour
We'll meet at the designated time next to the Asakusa Station (Ginza line) to begin a walking tour of Asakusa, one of Tokyo's traditional and historic neighborhoods.
During the tour, we will visit the Sens?-ji Temple, the oldest and most important Buddhist shrine in Japan. Next, we will explore Nakamise Street, rich in over 300 years of history, and Kappabashi Street, known for its kitchen utensil stalls.
We will walk to the Kaminarimon Gate (Gate of Thunder) where you can take photos before concluding the tour after a total of 2 hours.
Kimono rental and tea ceremony
To enhance your experience, you can choose to rent a traditional Japanese kimono for an hour for photos or participate in a traditional tea ceremony for 45 minutes.
