Kawaii Culture Tour
At the indicated time, meet at the Harajuku Tourist Information Center and, accompanied by our English-speaking guide, explore the Kawaii aesthetic, known for its innocent and colorful elements present in various products like toys, bags, and clothing.
The tour begins with a Purikara photo session, popular among young Japanese people, allowing you to capture fun collectible photos as a souvenir.
Next, we'll visit the Togo Shrine and Tokyu Plaza, stopping at several Kawaii food stalls to see brightly-decorated food, including a stop at the Sakura-Tei restaurant, known for its okonomiyaki, a traditional Japanese dish.
We will also visit significant Kawaii culture cafés, including a Maid Cafe, where waitresses wear Kawaii clothing and perform gestures such as heart shapes with their hands, and you can take photos with them.
To conclude the tour, you'll have free time to explore Kawaii shops and purchase various products representative of this urban culture in the Harajuku district. The tour completes with a return to the starting point 3 hours after pickup.
