Immerse yourself in Kawaii culture, characterised by its cute and innocent aesthetic and vividly bright colours, on this Kawaii Culture Tour of Tokyo. We'll see plenty of colourful outfits, food and even take unique photos. Let's go!

Kawaii Culture Tour

At the indicated time, meet at the Harajuku Tourist Information Center, accompanied by our English-speaking guide. Kawaii recreates an innocent and bucolic Japanese aesthetic and is displayed in numerous products, such as toys, bags and clothes.

The tour will begin with a Purikara photo session, which is very trendy right now with young Japanese people. You'll be able to take some of these collectable photos as a souvenir of the experience.

Next, we'll visit the Togo Shrine and Tokyu Plaza, stopping at several Kawaii food stalls to see brightly-decorated food. One of these will be the Sakura-Tei restaurant, which specialises in okonomiyaki, a typical Japanese dish.

The tour will then take us through several cafés significant in Kawaii culture, such as the Maid Cafe. Here, the waitresses are dressed in different types of Kawaii clothing, similar to the costumes of maids from a century ago. You can also see how they make heart gestures with their hands or have your photo taken with them.

To round off this Kawaii culture tour, you'll have some free time to explore the Kawaii shops and buy different products that reflect this urban culture in the Harajuku district. We'll then return to the starting point and say our goodbyes 3 hours after pickup.
