On this tour we'll visit two notable locations on the outskirts of Tokyo: Kamakura, known for its Grand Buddha, and Enoshima.
Tour Details
We will pick you up from your hotel in Tokyo at the designated time and proceed to the train station to commence our trip to Kamakura. After a brief 1-hour train ride, we will arrive at Kamakura Station. Our first stop will be Komachi-dori Street, famous for its local handicrafts and restaurants.
At the end of Komachi-dori Street, we will find the Tsurugaoka Hachimang? Shrine, the most significant Shinto shrine in the city. We will explore its gardens and ascend the staircase for views of the town.
Next, we will take a 5-minute tram ride to K?toku-in Temple and the Great Buddha statue. Visitors have the option to enter the Buddha statue for an additional cost. Our guide will provide historical and architectural insights during our visit.
We will have 1 hour of free time for lunch at local restaurants. Following lunch, we will return to the tram station and travel 20 minutes to Enoshima.
At Enoshima, we will explore the Benzaiten Nakamise-dori shopping street, where we can find souvenir shops and food stalls offering local specialties.
After a day of exploration, we will return to Tokyo, arriving back at Tokyo Station approximately 8 hours after departure.

The tour price does not include public transport fees. During the tour, we will use the Japan Rail and Enoden Tram.
