Mount Fuji & Fruit Picking Day Trip

Spend a full day enjoying Mount Fuji, one of the most beautiful sights in Japanese nature. Admire spectacular landscapes and even go fruit picking - an unmissable opportunity!

Day Trip Details

We’ll begin our adventure at the LOVE sculpture, located next to Shinjuku Station. From this meeting point in Tokyo, we’ll travel to the Kawaguchiko Lake Cable Car station, which will take us up Mount Fuji for breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views.

The cable car will bring us to the fifth station of Mount Fuji, where you’ll be treated to stunning scenery that’s sure to leave a lasting impression. After taking in the views, we’ll return to the base of the mountain by cable car.

Next, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant by Lake Kawaguchi, where you’ll enjoy a delicious Japanese lunch featuring a traditional udon noodle dish. After lunch, we’ll continue by bus to Yamanashi Fuji Fruit Park.

At the park, you’ll have the chance to pick and taste seasonal fruits—if it’s harvest season. From mid-July to mid-August, it’s peach season. Between mid-August and early October, you’ll pick grapes. And from mid-October through November, berries take center stage.

After the fruit-picking experience, we’ll continue touring the Mount Fuji area along the shores of Lake Kawaguchi. Here, we’ll stop at the popular Oishi Park. If you’re visiting on or after October 29, we’ll visit the Maple Corridor instead to admire the vibrant autumn foliage.

Finally, we’ll return by bus to the original meeting point in Tokyo, wrapping up this full-day tour after approximately 10 and a half hours.

How It Works?

You will embark on this tour starting at the LOVE sculpture next to Shinjuku Station. Travel to Kawaguchiko Lake via cable car to enjoy the stunning views from Mount Fuji's fifth station. Lunch will be served at a restaurant by Lake Kawaguchi, featuring a traditional udon dish. Afterward, visit Yamanashi Fuji Fruit Park for fruit picking, where you can enjoy a selection of seasonal fruits based on the time of year. The day includes a scenic visit to Oishi Park or the Maple Corridor, depending on the date.

Itinerary Changes

Due to the number of visitors in the area of Mount Fuji, the fifth station can only be visited from late July to mid-September or the end of September. During this time, we'll first climb to the top on a cable car and then take a bus that will take us directly to the fifth station.

If your day trip is outside of these dates, instead of the fifth station, you'll visit a seasonal site where you can also enjoy the incredible views of Mount Fuji in a relaxed environment.
