See the iconic Mt. Fuji from the riverbanks of Lake Kawaguchi on this day trip from Tokyo. The itinerary includes visiting the Chureito Pagoda.

Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi Day Trip

After meeting at the West Exit of Shinjuku Station, we'll depart by bus to the scenic area along Lake Kawaguchi. Once there, we will walk to a prime lookout point for views of Mt. Fuji, followed by a boat ride on the lake.

You will also have some free time to explore the area and can opt for a cable car ride to the mountain peak. After this, we will regroup and head back to the city for a meal featuring traditional Japanese cuisine.

Next, we will visit the Chureito Pagoda, a notable 5-story red temple and a symbol of Japan.

We will conclude our tour, returning to the meeting point after approximately 8 hours.

Wait Times

The boat trip on Kawaguchi Lake and cable car ride may have waiting times of 45 minutes to 1 hour. On certain occasions, it may not be feasible to complete both activities. In such cases, the guide will recommend which activity to prioritize for better time management.
