Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi Day Trip

Meet at the West Exit of Shinjuku Station for a bus departure from Tokyo to Lake Kawaguchi. Upon arrival, enjoy a short walk to a lookout point with views of Mt. Fuji and a boat ride on Lake Kawaguchi.

Afterward, you'll have free time to explore the area, including a cable car ride to the mountain peak. Following this, the group will reconvene for a meal featuring traditional Japanese cuisine.

Next, visit the Chureito Pagoda, a 5-story red temple and symbol of Japan. The day concludes as we return to the meeting point 8 hours later.

Wait Times

Expect waiting times for the boat trip on Kawaguchi Lake and cable car ride to range from 45 minutes to 1 hour. On some days, it may not be possible to conduct both activities, in which case the guide will recommend which to prioritize.
