Sumo Fighting Experience

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Yokozuna Tonkatsu Dosukoi Tanaka centre, where we'll take part in a sumo wrestlers' training while we tell you all about this typical Japanese combat.

Sumo is the national sport of Japan, involving traditional rituals before and after the wrestling. Participants will learn about the history, movements, training, and tournaments, adding a unique experience to their trip.

Participants will discover the strict routine of the wrestlers and understand training practices. Basic moves will be introduced, allowing guests to test them against one of the instructors.

The sumo training session provides an excellent chance to engage with the rituals and costumes of Japan's national sport and admire the dedication of its athletes.

Following the training, we will proceed to the restaurant attached to the centre to enjoy an authentic Chanko Nabe lunch. This typical sumo meal features a hearty stew with rice, meat or fish, potatoes, and vegetables.

We'll conclude the experience at the restaurant after 2 hours of immersive activities.
